UE4 3D COMBAT PROTOTYPE

Description

During my 2020 summer break, I spend some time tinkering with 3D Action character creation in UE4. This was a project I wanted to do because I am very interested in combat-oriented games and to take a break from developing my fighting game engine. I managed to research character movement using root motion and how I ideally would script 3D action games, I also extended UE4's animation notify-system to act as a hitbox editor. Which is perfect for this kind of game. When I have more time I would like to utilize it to create attacks with proper hit reactions.
